Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard said he's ready to face off in court with a New York landlord who is suing him over unpaid rent.

USA Today reported Saturday that Syndergaard had been sued in federal court, with the landlord saying the pitcher has failed to pay on the eight-month lease he signed to rent a $27,000-per-month penthouse in Lower Manhattan. The landlord is seeking at least $250,000 in unpaid rent.
