In honor of the late Raja Bryan, his mother Sue Bryan, left, gave the most outstanding wrestler award to Anthony Mannella of Mary Persons High School at the 2022 Raja Bryan Memorial Invitational.

Ola’s wrestling team placed second in the second annual Raja Bryan Memorial Invitational, a loaded tournament that featured 23 teams, including eight ranked in the top 10 of multiple classifications.

The field included 25 returning state placers and more than 50 returning state qualifiers. Mary Persons’ Anthony Mannella won the 165-pound division, and was presented the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award by Sue Bryan, the mother of the former Ola wrestler Raja Bryan, who died in 2021.
