McDONOUGH — The Region 4-AAAAA softball season has been a roller-coaster ride from the get-go, but local softball teams received some clarity during the final week of the regular season.
The Locust Grove Lady Wildcats (18-4, 13-3) locked up the No. 1 seed in the region Thursday with a 2-1 victory over Woodland. The Lady Wildcats will host the No. 8 seed, Stockbridge High School, on Saturday at 10 a.m.
