Union Grove's Craine commits to Chattanooga

McDONOUGH Derrick Craine was sucked into the atmosphere at the George Dome for the Atlanta Falcons nationally-televised game against the New Orleans Saints when he got a phone call.

It was Thomas Brown, the new running backs coach at Tennessee-Chattanooga, who played one season with the Falcons after four years at Georgia. He was calling to offer Craine a scholarship to play running back for the Mocs the perfect scenario Craine had been hoping for.
