Elementary students ‘adopt’ family for holidays

McDONOUGH — Flippen Elementary School students got into the Christmas spirit this year by “adopting” a family for holidays.

Kim Wiernicki’s fourth grade class raised nearly $200 to provide gifts for a local family.
