McDONOUGH – Pending the final count of absentee ballots, it appears Dee Clemmons has secured the Democratic nomination for the District 2 seat on the Henry County Board of Commissioners.

As of 10 a.m. Friday morning, Clemmons had 5,537 votes, or 61.04 percent of the vote. Devlin Cleveland had 22.37 percent of the vote, or 2,029 votes. Tina Marie Coria had 1,505 votes, or 16.59 percent of the vote.
