The Henry County Fire Department will hold a boot drive fund-raiser today, to benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Firefighters will collect donations on area streets, at local shopping centers and at businesses.

More than $9 million has been raised through "Give Burns the Boot" fund-raisers for the burn foundation since 1990, according to a statement issued by the county.
