JONESBORO — A former corporal with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office has been arrested and charged with malice murder in Clayton County in connection with the shooting death of her boyfriend and the father of her unborn child.
Jova’a Marie Jackson, 31, of Stockbridge, was booked into the Clayton County Jail June 6. She is charged with malice murder, stalking and possession of a weapon during commission of a crime in connection with the shooting death of Terell Douglas, 28. Jackson had apparently been in an on-and-off relationship with Douglas, a convicted felon, for several years.
