Giant map makes huge impression on students

STOCKBRIDGE Angel Kidd stepped across the equator and landed on the Amazon River. She was dwarfed by the 26-by-35-foot map of South America.

Kidd, 11, and others in Michelle Platsons sixth-grade social studies class at Stockbridge Middle School appeared pleased with their activity.
