In the wake of an armed attack on a Texas congregation, Henry County Sheriff Keith McBrayer announced he will hold a “large” security training for faith leaders early this March. McBrayer said through a spokesman that he plans to release more details next week.

McDONOUGH—The Henry County Sheriff's Office invites church leaders to register for a workshop on church security to be held Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Administrative Building, 140 Henry Pkwy., McDonough.

The workshop, which is for "pastors, deacons, trustees or administrative type boards of the church," will discuss gun laws and how they apply to churches.
