McDonough Mayor Sandra Vincent meets one-on-one with a local business owner during her Open Door Day event on March 19.

McDONOUGH — The mayor of McDonough recently initiated a new mission that aims to foster citizen engagement and improve responsiveness for city residents.

With her new Open Door Day and Mayor’s Reading Club event Mayor Sandra Vincent focuses on meeting face-to-face with locals of the Geranium City in an effort to address their concerns and encourage active participation with city officials.
