McDONOUGH — An annual breakfast highlighting military veterans of McDonough and the sacrifices made throughout their careers in the Armed Forces served as a day of remembrance for Carolyn Lewis.
The event, held in November of each year, offers an opportunity for her to reconnect with friends and loved ones who shared in her past military experiences. Lewis was able to call to mind a few achievements of her own as dozens of veterans gathered at the Senior Heritage Center in McDonough for Thursday’s Veterans Appreciation Breakfast.
