Johnny Wilson seeks to be the voice of District 1

McDONOUGH — Retired firefighter Johnny Wilson wants to continue serving the community and that’s why he is running for the District 1 seat on the Henry County Board of Commissioners.

Wilson is facing Republican incumbent Bo Moss in the July 26 runoff. The two were nearly tied with the highest number of votes in four-person race during the May 24 primary. Moss received 43.22 percent of the votes and Wilson garnered 40.92 percent. With neither securing more than 50 percent of the vote, the two will square off in the July runoff.
