Who would have thought tax time could be fun? Henry County resident Rachel Garrett found a little more to smile about Monday when she learned she won $1,000 in H&R Block’s $1,000 daily sweepstakes. Anyone who files their taxes by Feb. 15 at a participating H&R Block office can be entered into the sweepstakes. The tax preparation company plans to give away $32 million in the first month of tax season. Pictured here at the H&R Block office at 576 Macon St. in McDonough, from left, are Yolande Cason, franchise owner; Max Elliot, manager; Garrett; Sharon Fontaine, tax professional; and Mackie Nisbett, district manager.
