As Henry County Schools is gearing up for the first day of school on Aug. 1, administrators and staff have begun to move in to the new Birch Creek Elementary School. The school, at 850 Willow Lane in McDonough, is the 53rd school in Henry County. A ribbon-cutting and tour are planned Tuesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Here are some recent scenes of the move in and prep work at the school.
