In advance of the Sept. 7 and 8 NASCAR race weekend and as part of the Protect Your Melon: Buckle Up safety campaign, NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain is scheduled to appear at Southern Crescent Technical College in Griffin.

The event is scheduled Friday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of SCTC’s Film Technology Center, 657 N. Expressway, Griffin.
