McDONOUGH — A 1-year-old Henry County child died Saturday after being shot in the head.
According to Henry County Police Department Lt. Mike Ireland, the 17-month-old child, later identified by Coroner Donald Cleveland as Noah Gilmore, was in the family’s house on Kings Mill Road with his 3-year-old brother Saturday afternoon when one of the boys apparently got a hold of a .45-cal handgun that reportedly belonged to an adult family member.
