STOCKBRIDGE — Most of the proposed cuts to the city’s 2016 budget were not well received by council members, but some residents were in favor of cuts during Tuesday’s public hearing.

The proposed $8.82 million budget, drafted by Mayor Tim Thompson, was first presented at the Nov. 9 meeting. It seeks to cut expenses for council training and travel, city events, council initiatives and legal.
