Locust Grove officials to vote on rezoning of 8 acres off Bill Gardner Parkway

LOCUST GROVE — Qualifying for a special election to fill a vacant Locust Grove City Council seat will begin this month at City Hall.

The City Council voted unanimously on Jan. 19 hold a special election to fill the unexpired term of John R. Gardner, who moved out of the city last fall. Gardner’s term would have expired Dec. 31, 2021.
