Mr. Webster Edmond “Pepper” Sage, 73, of Barnesville, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. Mr. Sage was born in Iowa to the late Mr. Wilfred Earl Sage and the late Mrs. Lenora Susanna Staley Sage. He was a Diesel Mechanic for Roberts Equipment, and a Volunteer for the Griffin Humane Society. Mr. Sage was a veteran, having served in the United States Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bo and Jerry. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Sage, of Barnesville; two sons, Will Sage ( Dana), of Barnesville, and Ken Sage (Jennifer), of Meansville; five sisters, Sue Thomas, of Barnesville, Karen Mosley (Glen), of Stockbridge, Sandra Greene, of Barnesville, Debbie Benton (Tony), of Conyers and Carolyn Egnor, of Cartersville; three grandchildren, Logan Sage, Madalyn Sage and Garrett Sage; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11a.m., in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Banks officiating. Interment will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., in The Dorsey Family Cemetery in Lovejoy. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, May 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to: The Griffin/Spalding County Humane Society, P.O.
