Lighthouse Accelerated Christian Academy has announced three of its students -- Jamee' Varner, Jessika Rivera, and Nicholas Powell -- received high marks for their performances at the Accelerated Christian Education's (A.C.E.) Deep South Student Convention.
The school, located at 7139 Mt. Zion Blvd., in Jonesboro, sent a contingent of students to the convention, which was held March 29, through April 1, at Norman Park College in Norman Park, Ga. Students competed in the categories of music, oratory, art, athletics, academics, and service.
