Write-in BOC candidate says exclusion from recent forum was ‘unfair’

McDONOUGH — The write-in candidate for Henry County Board of Commissioners chair said he’s not too bothered after being excluded from a candidate forum hosted by the Henry Council for Quality Growth. But he did say he believes the gesture — or lack thereof — was unfair.

Don Henderson, who qualified in late June for the position, was not invited to Wednesday’s forum. Democrat candidate Carlotta Harrell and Republican candidate June Wood participated. Henderson was not invited, which he has alleged was intentional.
