FLOWERY BRANCH — Atlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot addressed the media Wednesday after practice for the first time since the NFL announced the team’s punishment for tampering violations.

It was announced on June 13 that the Falcons were stripped of a 2025 fifth-round pick and fined $250,000 for violating the league’s anti-tampering policy on free-agent signings. The violations came particularly from their hunt for Kirk Cousins and others.
