McDONOUGH — The Eagle’s Landing Golden Eagles took on the Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy Chargers in a crosstown rivarly Friday night at Eagle’s Landing High School where the Chargers came out on top with a 39-13 victory.

ELCA relied on the run game through the first quarter, as both teams’ defenses were unable to really get going. A deep punt that pushed the Golden Eagles back to their own 1-yard line set up the first score of the game — a safety earned by ELCA when a group of Chargers tackled Eagle’s Landing’s Star Rawls in the end zone.
