Ja’Niah Alexander became the first McDonough High athlete to sign with an NCAA Division I program this week, signing Wednesday with the Alabama A&M women’s basketball program.

Alexander, a 5-foot-11 point guard, averaged 12.4 points as a junior for McDonough’s state playoff team.
