Ohio State football players had to sign a waiver acknowledging COVID-19 risks before they could take part in voluntary workouts, The Columbus Dispatch reported Sunday.

The newspaper, through a public records request, obtained the two-page waiver that outlined potential risks and instructed the players to abide by school health and safety protocols. By signing the document, each player made a "pledge to take responsibility for my own health and help stop the spread of the COVID-19."
