AUGUSTA – There are so many vignettes and sidebars, historically and lately, at the Masters that one, if time allowed, could write a book every day of tournament week.

The overwhelming media influence brings about a detailed analysis about every shot of the tournament. For example, following Justin Rose’s splendid score of 65, seven-under-par, in the first round, there was one view that suggested he is not likely to win the golf tournament.
