Henry County Fire-Rescue emergency crews were dispatched early Wednesday to a house fire in the Stockbridge Windsong Plantation subdivision following reports received at about 1:20 a.m. Upon arrival, crews discovered a two-story home with flames through the garage roof, with about 40% of the house already involved. The heavy winds made the firefighting efforts challenging to control initially, HCFR said in a statement. The fire’s origin remains unknown at this time, and there were no reported injuries, the HCFR said Wednesday.
