McDONOUGH — On Monday, the Henry County Board of Education approved a request to upgrade computer systems at all the district’s schools.

NetPlanner Systems was awarded the $2.1 million contract to upgrade or replace switching and routing equipment and other infrastructure. With funding from the Federal Communications Commission E-Rate Program, the total cost to the district is expected to be $429,000. Monies from E-SPLOST V will be used to pay for the project.
