McDonough High dropped in this week’s poll.

McDONOUGH — Although school wasn’t in session until today for the Henry County area, numerous teams were in action over the winter break, and the Henry Herald Power Rankings have shifted well in response.

The rankings didn’t move much at the top as the first two teams have yet to play each other during this season but the rest of the rankings shifted as teams began to warm up.

The biggest mover of this week’s ranking happened to be New Creation Christian School as they moved into the No. 6 spot.

Between Eagle’s Landing and Dutchtown, who played Monday evening. The rankings remained solid in their positioning with the Golden Eagles soaring further ahead over Dutchtown. The loss didn’t move the rankings tremendously, just added to the gap between each school in the top five.
